1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Behavior Insights (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including beta participants.

2. Nature of the Service

Behavior Insights is a personal self-help journaling tool. It applies Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) observation principles to help individuals identify patterns in their own behavior.

Behavior Insights is not a medical device, clinical service, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not intended for use by clinicians to assess or treat patients. Do not use the Service in place of professional care.

3. Permitted Use

You may use Behavior Insights for personal, non-commercial behavioral self-reflection. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to store data about other people without their consent.
• Attempt to access another user’s data or accounts.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all content you submit to Behavior Insights. We do not claim any rights to your journal entries, behaviors, or tags.

If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. To request deletion, contact us at the address in Section 8.

5. Beta Period

Behavior Insights is currently in beta. The Service is provided “as is” during this period. Features, pricing, and terms may change before public launch. We will notify active users of material changes by email or in-app notice.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

A free tier and a Premium tier are available. Premium features are noted in the app and in the Features Guide. Paid subscription terms, billing cycles, and refund policy will be published here when billing is enabled. During the beta period, all features are available without charge unless stated otherwise.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Behavior Insights and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
